Belle Haven Kitchen
This client asked us to create a modern, light filled kitchen that would connect to the backyard and also fit in with the brick Georgian style of the house. We were only allowed to add minimal square footage to the house, so the design required an intricate dance among the different competing requirements for the space. Number one was light and circulation space to that the young family could easily move through the room, and second was a strong visual anchor, the range and hood. Tucked in and out of the way are a full butlers pantry in the passage to the Dining Room, and a walk in Pantry off the small entry from the back yard. Clean white cabinets, tile and stone complete the simple modern yet timeless look.
